About the Course:
The ISO 45001: 2018 standard was developed starting from the already existing and consolidated standards – BS OHSAS 18001 and the ILO (International Labor Organization) conventions – with the added value of being able to easily interact with the other existing management systems, ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015, integrating the High Level Structure (HSL) provided by ISO Annex SL. Unlike BS OHSAS 18001, the certifiable ISO 45001: 2018 standard adopts an approach based on the Context of the Organization, Interested Parties, Risk Management and Opportunities and on the Continuous Improvement of the organization’s performance. This course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of occupational health and safety management systems against ISO 45001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable. This course offers instruction, discussion, exercises, case studies and presentations designed to assist you to understand, and take part in, all the activities scheduled over the five days

Course Content:
Explain the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 in context of audit Describe the purpose of OHS and explain quality principles, processes and techniques for identification and assessment of Occupational Health and Safety Management System Planning – Risks and Opportunities Provide detailed knowledge of the auditing process including the role and responsibility of auditors and lead auditors Audit reporting including Non-Conformance reports lead auditors
Pre-requisite It is recommended that the participants attending this course should have adequate knowledge of ISO 45001 Standard and some prior knowledge of auditing. No prior knowledge may lead to unsuccessful completion of this course and the gaps in this knowledge may not be covered during this course
