About the Course:
AS 9110 Rev C is an Aerospace Standard based on the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements supplemented with additional quality system requirements established by the aerospace Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) industry.

The intent of AS 9110 Rev C is to establish a single quality management system for use within the aerospace MRO industry that is recognised worldwide. The official title of AS 9110 Rev C is “Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organisations”. A well designed and implemented Quality Management System, based on AS9110, has been shown to provide MRO Organizations with the following benefits:

• Greater degree of Customer Satisfaction
• Improved product Quality and Reliability
• Reduced Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
• Better process control and flow
• Better documentation of processes
• Better quality control over internal production & external service providers
• Greater employee fulfilment awareness on quality

The MRO industry has moved towards requiring their subcontractors and suppliers to be AS 9110 compliant and/or certified. By becoming registered to AS 9110 or by conforming to the standard, suppliers can gain a competitive advantage and benefit from the improved processes and continuous improvement that is the foundation of ISO 9001 certified Quality Management Systems.
