Supply chain resilience continues to be an issue as companies across the aerospace sector grapple with ongoing global disruptions, production delays and increased demands.

Against this backdrop, AAIS organised an inaugural Aerospace Suppliers Day 2026 during the Singapore Airshow on 6 February 2026, supported by Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore, to bring together leading OEMs & MROs, suppliers, and industry professionals in building a stronger, more collaborative and opportunity-ready aerospace local supply chain.

The session opened with remarks from AAIS President, Mr Wong Yue Jeen and EDB Vice President and Head Mobility, Mr Zheng Jingxin, who shared on how the industry can work together to improve partnerships and build stronger supplier connectivity. This was then followed by featured presentations from Mr Rajashi Maiti of Rolls-Royce and Mr Suresh Najaranam of Singapore Component Solutions, who shared insights on their supply chain engagements and developments.

During the panel discussion, moderated by Mr Rahul Shah, featuring panellists including Mr Peter Gille, CEO at TurbineAero, Mr Andy Kwek, VP Customer Business and Procurement at SAESL, Mr Shane Liew, General Manager at ACP Metal Finishing and Ms Jessica Chan, Managing Director at Metalcool. Both panellists and participants engaged in robust discussions exploring supply chain opportunities, as well as areas to deepen partnerships and collaborations across the aerospace ecosystem in addressing operational challenges.

Some key takeaways from the Supplier Day include:

  • Supply Chain Opportunities – Insights on future OEM developments and upcoming roadmaps, and how suppliers can strategically position themselves along the supply chain as OEMs and MROs scale production and expand capabilities.
  • Deepened Ecosystem Partnerships – Moving towards deeper partnerships across the aerospace ecosystem to unlock shared opportunity and strengthen value.
  • Capability, Resilience & Digital Transformation – Enhancing operational excellence through innovation and digitalisation to drive competitiveness and ensure readiness for future growth.

The session concluded with closing remarks from Ms Anne Ho, Director of Advanced Manufacturing at Enterprise Singapore and a networking lunch.

A big thank you to all our speakers for sharing their knowledge and perspectives so openly, our partners for their support, as well as all participants who took the time to attend the session.

The conversations started don’t end here – AAIS will continue to work with our partners and members to foster capability building, competitiveness and resilience across the aerospace supply chain.
