AAIS hosted a delegation from Hainan on 5 August for an industry exchange on the latest developments under the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and emerging opportunities for aviation activities in Hainan.

Initiated by CapitaLand, the meeting brought together senior representatives from Hainan’s airport and aviation infrastructure ecosystem, executives from CapitaLand and leaders from the Singapore aerospace community to exchange perspectives on potential areas for international collaboration.

The Hainan delegation was led by Yang Xiaobin, President of Hainan Airport Group and Chairman of Hainan Airport Infrastructure, and included senior representatives from Hainan Airport Industry Development Group and Haikou Meilan International Airport.
