About the Course:
This 3-day training can be used to help you understand how to establish and organize a process safety management system in your organization. This training course introduces you to the latest thinking and basic concepts and elements of effective process safety management systems and provides procedures that can be used to control process hazards.

The knowledge you gain as a result of this course will help you establish and implement a process safety management system that can be based on the American OSHA 1910.119 Process Safety Management standard, European Union SEVESO II requirements, and/or the CCPS requirements, to prevent, eliminate, and/or minimize catastrophic losses and events in your organization.

Who Should Attend?
Safety and Health Professionals, Environmental Specialists, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Air Quality Specialists, Risk Assessment Specialists, and other Operational Personnel working in the Process Industry.
Course Content:
This course is designed to provide technical managers and other personnel having responsibility for process safety in their operations an understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, how to apply them, and provides methods on how to implement an effective PSM system using a ‘barrier-based approaches.’

The course also focuses on the risk management process, and once risks are properly identified and classified, how to treat them via various risk reduction techniques. Participants will also become familiar with the various standards used for PSM, such as the OSHA 1910.119 standard for PSM, Seveso II, and CCPS.
