What happens when you gather aviation researchers in one room? We found out at SAR-TED – the Singapore Aviation Research and Technology Exchange Day (SAR-TED). The local Aviation research community convened at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) on 25 July 2025, to network and learn more about each other’s research focus and priorities. The goal was to foster collaborations that translate research into market-ready innovations.

Participants heard interesting presentations on a variety of topics, with emphasis on air traffic management:

The Singapore Aviation Research and Technology Exchange (SAR-TED) was graced by Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Mr Han Kok Juan, and Chief Executive of the International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI), Mr Patrick Ky. The event was co-chaired by the Aviation Studies Institute (ASI) and MITRE, and supported by CAAS and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research. AAIS Chief Executive participated, in his capacity also as ASI Advisory Board member.
