AAIS had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Sacheon City Council, South Korea to Seletar Aerospace Park on 15 September.

The delegation, comprising six Council members and policymakers supporting the Mayor of Sacheon, was on a regional visit to Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia to study industry, promote partnerships, and explore collaboration opportunities.

A coastal city in southwest Korea, Sacheon is located 90 minutes from Busan and recognised as a hub for the country’s aerospace industry, being the home of Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA).

Welcoming the delegation, AAIS Chief Executive shared an overview of Singapore’s aviation and aerospace ecosystem, highlighting key industry developments and strategic initiatives. Subsequent discussions and exchanges focused on the development of international aviation hubs, talent and workforce development, and advancing the space sector. The delegation also extended an invitation for Singapore’s aerospace community to visit Sacheon and explore collaboration opportunities.
