GACP Summit 2025

AAIS participated in the 3rd Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP) Summit on 20 Jun 2025, hosted by the Embassy of Mexico in France and held in conjunction with Paris Air Show.

Dr Blanca Jiménez Cisneros, Ambassador of Mexico in France, opened the Summit with a welcome speech expressing appreciation for this international collaboration initiative by Aerospace clusters. We thank Her Excellency for graciously hosting the Summit in the magnificent rooms of the Embassy residence.

AAIS President addresses the Summit

AAIS President Mr Wong Yue Jeen  presented a keynote on ‘International Aerospace Collaboration from an Asian Perspective’, sharing insights on the Asia MRO market outlook, and drawing on the experience of SIA Engineering Company in building its network of partnerships in Singapore and the Asian region.

GACP Board as of 20 Jun 2025

The GACP Board (on which AAIS is represented) welcomed two additions – Ms Rachel Blackburn of Aerospace Wales Forum and Mr Andy Cheung of International Aviation SME Solutions of China – making a total of 8 Board members.

‘Propel’ presented to Mr Schilling and Mr Schonfeld

AAIS is a founding member of GACP and took the opportunity to recognise Mr Niklas Schilling of Hamburg Aviation and Secretariat of GACP for organising the Summit and supporting the work of the Board. Mr Thilo Schonfeld of Aerospace Valley Toulouse has also been a prime mover behind GACP. Mr Schilling and Mr Schonfeld were both presented with copies of AAIS’ heritage publication, Propel.
