As we welcomed the Year of the Snake, AAIS and the aerospace community came together to spread festive cheer with Aerospace Community Day 2025. Held on 6 and 7 February, the event brought joy to over 470 seniors across two elderly care homes—St. John’s Home and Bright Hill Evergreen Home.

At St. John’s Home, volunteers from Safran Electronics & Defense Services Asia transformed the communal hall with vibrant decorations and organised classic games like bingo and cups-and-balls, keeping residents engaged with friendly competition, laughter, and even special gifts. The celebrations continued with songs and entertainment and were rounded off with the cherished tradition of distributing mandarin oranges, angbaos, and sharing a delicious meal.

Over at Bright Hill Evergreen Home, a small army of volunteers from various RTX entities kept the energy high, serenading residents with festive tunes and engaging them in interactive games. They also handed out oranges and angbaos, and shared a hearty meal with the residents. Knowing that some seniors were unable to join the main event, volunteers made sure to visit over 300 less-mobile residents in their wards, making sure no one missed out on the festive joy.
