A highly successful Aerospace Day 2025 was held on 15 May 2025 at Nanyang Polytechnic, attracting over 1,000 participating students and job-seekers. The full-day event provided students with an invaluable opportunity to explore career paths in the exciting and dynamic fields of aviation and aerospace. Aerospace Day this year saw significant expansion, featuring a diverse lineup of participating companies through a career fair, insightful presentations, and exclusive visits to company facilities across the island.

The morning at Nanyang Polytechnic kicked off with an exciting drone soccer competition, where teams demonstrated their technical skills and teamwork in a fast-paced, futuristic sport that blends drone piloting with strategic gameplay. The competition set an energetic tone for the day, as spectators cheered while drones zipped through the air in a thrilling test of precision and control, underscoring the innovation and enthusiasm that defined the entire event.

At the heart of Aerospace Day 2025 was a vibrant career fair featuring prominent aerospace and aviation companies, including Airbus, Bombardier, SIA Engineering Company, ST Engineering and many more. Over the day, company booths were packed with curious students eager to learn about internship opportunities, graduate programmes, and real-world experiences. Running alongside the fair were company-led talks and panel sessions, where experienced engineers, managers, and young professionals offered students a deeper look into life in the aerospace sector—sharing insights on their organisations, and the personal journeys that led them to pursue careers in this dynamic and exciting field.

Throughout the day, groups of students also went on exclusive company site visits to aviation and aerospace companies located all around Singapore. These guided tours offered students a rare, behind-the-scenes look at operational facilities—ranging from cutting-edge technology labs to aircraft hangars and active shopfloors—giving students a firsthand exposure to real-world aerospace environments and industry practices.

Organised by AAIS, JTC, the 5 Polytechnics, ITE, e2i, EDB and WSG, the 5th edition of Aerospace Day marked a significant step in building stronger ties between the youth and industry. AAIS would like to thank all participating companies for an enriching and successful Aerospace Day 2025.
