The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) held its biennial Aerospace Technology Seminar (ATS) on 4 April 2025 at the Air Force Training Command.
The ATS serves as a platform to showcase and discuss leading trends, emerging capabilities in the aerospace industry, and key advances within the RSAF’s engineering and logistics community. Traditionally involving RSAF officers, selected suppliers, and academic representatives, the seminar fosters valuable collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
AAIS was pleased to be a Supporting Partner for this year’s event, and we are grateful for the exclusive invitations extended to our members and affiliate student clubs.
With the theme “Aerospace 2030: Navigating the Next Decade of Aerospace”, ATS 2025 opened with an address by Deputy Head Air Engineering and Logistics (Airworthiness Engineering) Reuben Lim. This was followed by a series of presentations from industry and RSAF speakers, covering innovative projects on digitalisation, additive manufacturing, and the use of data in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). A lively plenary discussion rounded off the morning session.
In the afternoon, breakout discussions were held across four key focus areas:
-
Digitalisation and Data Analytics in Aerospace
-
Innovation in Unmanned Systems
-
Advanced Manufacturing and Maintenance Technologies
-
Airworthiness, Aerodynamics, and Performance Enhancements
Participants also got an opportunity to visit the exhibition, which showcased solution providers with innovations such as advanced testing processes, anti-jamming technologies, analytics and robotics for MRO, additive manufacturing applications, and more.
