AAIS Honorary Secretary and Chief Executive were pleased to welcome a delegation from Hainan to Seletar Aerospace Park on 6 September 2024. Led by Mr Yu Xiang, Deputy Director of the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, the delegation included representatives from Hainan Economic Development Bureau, Haikou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Haikou Jiangdong New District Administration, and Haikou Airport Industry Development Group Co. Ltd.
After presenting an update on Singapore’s aviation hub status and aerospace industry developments, we also discussed Hainan’s ambitions as a regional hub – its free port development and interest to attract investments in MRO.
