About the Course:
ISO 14001 provides the framework for Environment Management System that helps businesses and organisations be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. The Environment management systems standard is generic in nature and relevant for organisations of all sizes and sectors. ISO 14001 focus on risk-based thinking that helps identify opportunities in a structured manner.

This course offers instruction, discussion, exercises, case studies and presentations designed to assist you to understand, and take part in, all the activities scheduled over the five days.

This course is ideal for anyone wishing to audit an organization’s ISO 14001:2015 EMS.

  • Explain the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 in context of audit
  • Describe the purpose of EMS and explain quality principles, processes and techniques for identification and assessment of Environment Management System
  • Planning – Risks and Opportunities
  • Environmental Aspects and Impacts
  • Environmental and Impacts
  • Provide detailed knowledge of the auditing process including the role and responsibility of auditors and lead auditors
  • Audit reporting including Non-Conformance reports lead auditors

It is recommended that the participants attending this course should have adequate knowledge of ISO 14001 Standard and some prior knowledge of EMS/QMS auditing. No prior knowledge may lead to unsuccessful completion of this course and the gaps in this knowledge may not be covered during this course.
