About the Course:
This two days training course will provide in-depth knowledge of key regulations and processes related to the production organization approval in the aerospace industry.   • Introduction to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 and UK Regulation (EU) 748/2012 {the UK Initial Airworthiness Regulation}
    A detailed overview of the key provisions and significance of the EU and UK regulations, including their role in initial airworthiness.
  • Overview of EASA and UK CAA Part 21 Requirements and Subparts
    A thorough review of the EASA Part 21 framework and UK CAA regulations, including the structure of Subparts that govern production organizations and their operations.
  • Interaction with Other Airworthiness Requirements
    Understanding how Part 21 Subpart G interacts with other airworthiness regulations, including certification and maintenance processes and how they contribute to overall aircraft safety.
  • Part 21 Subpart G Production Organisation Approval Requirements and Constraints
    An exploration of the detailed requirements for obtaining and maintaining a Production Organisation Approval (POA), as well as the associated constraints and challenges organizations may face.
  • POA Assessment Process and Maintenance
    Insight into the assessment process for obtaining and renewing a POA, including the steps involved, key documentation required, and strategies for maintaining continuous compliance with evolving regulations.
  • EASA and UK CAA Form 1
    Understanding the purpose and proper use of the EASA and UK CAA Form 1, including its role in certifying components and parts, as well as the process for completing this critical document

About the Instructor:
Mr Jeffrey Ho
With over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry and a certified Principal Aerospace Auditor, Jeffrey has been extensively involved in the establishment, maintenance and auditing of management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements.

Jeffrey previously served as the Chairman of the Singapore Aerospace Quality Group (SAQG) and is currently a member of the writing team for the International Aerospace Standards (including AS9100 Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations, and AS9101 Quality Management Systems Audit Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations) for the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).
