AAIS Bowling Tournament

It was a fun-filled Saturday morning on 24 May 2025 as the aerospace community came together for a lively and spirited AAIS Bowling Tournament at Orchid Bowl, Orchid Country Club.

With 27 teams participating, the atmosphere was electric from the first roll to the final frame. The lanes came alive with friendly competition, team spirit, high fives, and plenty of strikes, as teams showcased their coordination and camaraderie at the games. The tournament also featured a series of exciting novelty games—including “4 Bagger,” “7-10 Splits,” and “5 Stand-Alone”—which added an extra layer of fun and friendly competition. These unique challenges sparked plenty of laughter and kept the excitement rolling throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to Team SIAEC of SIA Engineering Company, who emerged as the champions of this year’s tournament with an impressive total score of 2018! Coming in as First Runner-Up was Team SAESL A from Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL), who kept the competition tight with consistent scores. Team Collins HS Team 2 of Hamilton Sundstrand Pacific Aerospace finished close behind the leaders, securing the Second Runner-Up spot this year. Individual awards were also recognised, with Benedict Yong of Hamilton Sundstrand Pacific Aerospace and Char Anqi of SAESL winning the title of Best Male Bowler and Best Female Bowler respectively.
