AAIS facilitated a visit to SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) Safety Promotion Centres for attendees from RSAF Occupational Safety and Health Working Group, led by Col Nick Wong, Head Air Force Inspectorate and Col (Dr) Brian See, Chief Air Force Medical Officer.

Learning Visit to Changi Airport Group
AAIS organised an exclusive visit for its RSAF members to Changi Airport Group (CAG) on 21 June 2024. The visit showcased CAG’s advanced digitalisation and automation efforts in asset maintenance and management, including technologies like Digital Twins, point cloud data, and sensorisation. A tour of the Fault Management Centre provided practical insights into these technologies, showcasing wins of an innovation culture.

AAIS Bowling Tournament 2024
The ever-popular Annual AAIS Bowling Tournament returned on 11 May 2024 with 32 teams battled for bragging rights at Orchid Bowl @ Orchid Country Club. Cheers erupted for every strike as camaraderie filled the air. Novelty games like “4 Bagger” added a twist to the fun-filled morning. Congratulations to champions SAESL, first runner-up Team SIAEC, 2nd runner ups from Bestlabs Singapore and to all winners! Stay tuned for more upcoming sporting tournaments!

Dialogue with Selangor State EXCO and trade delegation
AAIS facilitated a dialogue with its members on 1 August 2024 featuring the Honorable Dr Mohamad Fahmi Ngah, Selangor State EXCO. The event provided a platform for AAIS members and the Sg UAS Community to find out about the developments in Selangor’s aerospace, UAS, and AAM ecosystem, and network with officials from the Selangor state government.

AAIS Launches Singapore UAS Directory 2024/25
AAIS has launched the fourth edition of the Singapore UAS Directory, with the support of the CAAS, Enterprise Singapore and MPA. Since the last edition, the breadth and sophistication of the industry has evolved. To better reflect this, we have doubled the number of classifications and grown from 56 pages to 88 pages. We trust that this new edition will provide better utility to end users.

Briefing on the Singapore Sustainable Air Hub Blueprint
AAIS hosted a briefing on the Singapore Sustainable Air Hub Blueprint for members on 17 July 2024, featuring Mr Daniel Ng, Chief Sustainability Officer the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Launched in February 2024, the blueprint demonstrates Singapore’s commitment to balancing environmental responsibility with the continued growth of its aviation industry.
