Aerospace Industry Transformation in Practice
In partnership with Zincode, AAIS hosted a seminar on Aerospace Industry Transformation in Practice on 16 April 2025. Participants explored advances in AI-powered machine vision for the inspection of complex metal parts, additive manufacturing, and factory floor transformation. Highlights included a live demo of collaborative and mobile robots for defect detection.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) held its biennial Aerospace Technology Seminar on 4 April 2025. AAIS was proud to be a Supporting Partner this year, with exclusive invitations extended to members and affiliated student clubs. The seminar featured insightful presentations, a plenary discussion, and an engaging showcase of innovative projects in defence aviation.

Ringing in the Year of the Snake: AAIS CNY HOST Networking
On February 13th, AAIS members, partners and guests gathered for our first HOST networking of the year, held at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and camaraderie as guests celebrated the Lunar New Year and connected with industry friends both old and new. A highlight was the customary ‘Lohei’ with well-wishes for a prosperous year ahead.

Drones and Uncrewed Asia (DUCA) 2025
AAIS and our Singapore UAS Community was proud to support DUCA 2025 held from 9-10 April. With a larger exhibition footprint and vibrant engagement across booths and conferences, the event highlighted the positive momentum for the UAS and AAM industries. AAIS CE also moderated a panel on autonomous flight, discussing emerging opportunities, regulatory shifts, innovation and collaboration.
