Learning Journey to ARTC Smart Factory Model
June 26 @ 2:00 pm
Experience a Smart Factory first-hand and understand how you can leverage automation and digitalisation to
boost competitiveness and develop new solutions and business models.
Model Factory @ ARTC
The Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is an initiative led by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), based on a public-private partnership that strives to bridge the gap between research and industrial application.
A model of a factory of the future, the Model Factory @ ARTC is part of A*STAR’s Model Factories Initiative to support the industry in its digital transformation journey. The Model Factory @ ARTC focuses on disruptive technologies, primarily Industry 4.0 technologies, that can transform factories and industrial operations to be more efficient and competitive.
It offers a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility equipped with industrial machines and digital systems, allowing companies to test advanced remanufacturing technologies in a learning environment and co-develop solutions for greater productivity and efficiency.
Manufacturers, technology providers, and the broader industry are welcome to the facility to learn how the technologies are implemented on manufacturing use-cases. Participants will be able to tour the Virtual Manufacturing Lab (gearbox assembly line) and learn how the Manufacturing Intelligence Control Room can be applied to a shop floor.
