The AAIS provides various services and resources via our knowledge partners to aid companies that are looking at enhancing their readiness and competitiveness to serve the aerospace industry.
Some of these initiatives include:
AeroConsortiums
The formation of a consortium where different aerospace companies can maximise strength and competitiveness by offering complementing products and services.
AS Certification & Accreditation
Assisting local-based companies in implementing Quality Management Systems such as ISO14001, OSHAS18001, ISO90001, AS9100 - AS9120 and Nadcap via government funding and assistance schemes.
Global Regulatory Updates
Organising a variety of QMS seminars/talks which are held on a periodic basic with the aim of promoting awareness and providing timely updates on regulatory issues around the world (such as CAAS, FAA, EASA etc.)
National BCM Programme
Assisting companies to build up their business continuity management capability.
Risk Management & bizSAFE
SMS (Safety management system) implementation and training via the MOM/WSH RMAF and BizSafe support scheme.
Technology Adoption
Encouraging the use of technology via the Technology Improvement and Adoption Programme (TIA) funding scheme
Some aviation-specific funds provided by relevant Singapore government agencies include:
Aviation Development Fund (ADF)
The CAAS is committed to building a vibrant aviation industry and centre of aviation excellence in Singapore and the ADF is an initiative to support this aim.
